Victoria's Place and Other Tales of Terror, and Questions About a Series

Howdy again friends and fans! I just wanted to address a couple of questions I'm frequently asked these days, and it seemed the best way to do that *en masse*, as it were, is to lay everything out in one of my signature blood-soaked blog posts, and so away we go...

The first query that usually comes my way is whether I have any *print* -- that is, hard copy, paper, good old-fashioned -- books for sale, and the answer to that is an emphatic YES! For now, at least.

My title Victoria's Place and Other Tales of Terror, a slim paperback first published in 2008, is still available in very limited quantities. It's a quartet of illustrated short stories including the title piece, "Sharp in the Sand," "Dragonhunting," and "Alone, Truly." Two of these stories appeared in other venues in the now ancient era of 1995-2000, and all four of them have been part and parcel -- in e-book form -- of Tales from Dark 7 since 2013.

I have provided a photo of the book below, side by side with a now no longer available title, Mortician's Food. For those of you who are interested, this was a project undertaken in 2009 with the other individual whose name you see on the cover, and with whom I am (blessedly) no longer affiliated in any way. My contribution to that particular abomination was a novelette, "After the Sun" -- which, if you are *still* interested, is also now part of Tales from Dark 7. I offer the picture merely as a matter of historical interest, and for visual perspective.

But back to Victoria's Place and Other Tales of Terror: Copies are available for the meager sum of $10.00 US (Canadian or other customers hailing from foreign lands, please contact me for pricing). Price includes domestic USPS postage, and I will place my indelible signature on your copy should you so desire. I can and will accept payment via Paypal, Facebook Messenger, or money order by snail-mail. I also accept a variety of cryptocurrencies if you prefer, and numismatic metals. Again, there are limited copies left, this book is out of print, and in fact the publisher is defunct. So contact me *ASAP* if you'd like one or more of these limited edition books!

As to the matter of my forthcoming novel, Time Passages: Shadow's Acre, I'm asked quite often if the presence of a subtitle implies that it is to be the first book of a series. The straightforward answer to this is, I don't know. It is a possibility I have contemplated, though I will say the story was originally conceived as a stand-alone novel. Truth be told, as of this writing, I don't even know how the story ends -- and I suppose that will have some bearing on whether or not the novel will enjoy a sequel, no? So for now, I will have to answer with a definite maybe. I hope that sets in all of your curiosity craws as well as can be reasonably expected.

Okay, that's all for now, and I hope it helped. I'm off to spin some more yarns. Talk to y'all next time!

My Very Best,

Alex
